According to UNICEF Haiti is the most dangerous country in the Western Hemisphere to give birth in. This leaves thousands of children orphaned.

IN FACT

30,000 children in Haiti reside in an orphanage

HOWEVER

80% of the children living in an orphanage have a living parent. 

BUT

As a parent you know that an orphanage will insure that a child will receive care and by allowing an orphanage to take your child, you are able to have more money for yourself and other children. The average wage in Haiti is less than $2 per day.

REDEEM UNITED Wants to address this problem and vicious cycle head on by REACHING, RESTORING, and EMPOWERING families to have the tools they need to raise their family. To us, orphan prevention means investing in the areas of, maternal care, economic development, discipleship, community outreach and healthcare.
